Subject: Astronomy Workshop for IYA2009 started in Bangladesh

Dear IYA09 National Nodes,

It is another great news from Bangladesh that to introduce the real Astronomy and the Universe the IYA2009 Celebration Committee of Bangladesh has started an Astronomy Workshop in Dhaka. It is named after an eminent late astronomer Abdul Jabbar as "Abdul Jabbar Astronomy Workshop" which will run for two weeks.

On 26 April it was inaugurated at Jamil Sarwar Trust Auditorium, located at Elephant road of Katabon, Dhaka which will be conducted up to 17 May, 2009. Eminent Astronomers, Scientists, Doctorates and Fellows will deliver their lectures and take classes. We have a limited seat for the participants but enthusiasts number was exceed the limit so we had to extend the seat capacity. Even, including the youngsters some older persons, retired officials and other persons from different professions are also did registration to participate this Workshop.

It seem the activities of IYA2009 in Bangladesh is spreading its heavenly light like from a sparking, starring, nova and gradually Supernova in the country. People are very much avid to learn it more and deeply.
